Holidays with Farid

I'm happy because we're on vacation ... it's just a week but for me it's time enough to relax, to enjoy and to live some carefree, lazy days. Also, since yesterday until Friday, we have a very special guest with us. One of Vic´s best friends, Farid, came from Holland to spend a few days with us. I know that it means a lot to both, to spend some holidays together ... so my husband is happy and therefore I'm also happy ... it could not be otherwise.

I took these photos yesterday, when we went, after lunch, to take a walk until the icon of our city, the Tower of Hercules.

Upss ... I almost forgot to tell you that today is an extra special day because it´s the birthday of my husband that meets, no more and no less than 30 years ... tonight we´ll celebrate with a small and very special dinner with our guest ... it´s a very sweet moment in our lives and we have much to be thankful for.

Early walk in the morning

These pictures are from last Sunday. We were spending the weekend at the country house of my parents and we went for a walk early in the morning. I have to admit that even though I love to walk, and more still in the woods, I find myself increasingly more uncomfortable because of my big belly, the gained weight and stifling heat that has been around here these days .. .. but nevertheless we enjoyed, as always, nature, landscape, sunlight and the excellent company of the love of your life.

Right now I'm 33 weeks pregnant, and I´m beginning to know what it´s like to have real swollen feet and ankles ... I know it's normal ... but it can be a bit frustrating when you get up in the morning and none of your shoes fit. ... I'm really sorry for those of you still on vacation but I'm honestly looking forward to the cold ...

Neighbouring food

At this point you probably already know that my parents have a house in the country where we spent some weekends and holidays. It's a tiny small village with only a few houses and just a few neighbours ... Well, this weekend, my cousin Carlos decided to organize a barbecue for all neighbours ... He improvised a small dining room in the garage of his parents and invited us all personally.

It was a nice party, a pleasant meeting full of laughter and children who´s parents often want to stay and live here in a house. Peacefull country for a easy living.

So something magnetic must have this place to a lot of us while dreaming of living there someday ... why would I also want to live hear someday? that´s easy: nature, long walks in the mountains, sunsets lying on the grass, the silence, the sound of birds, the beach, the family ans still close to the city...
