My little swimmer!

We did it. We returned to the beach and everything was great. And since that day we have been going every day and we've discovered that our baby is the cutest little swimmer. He enjoys the water more than anything else.

Seeing his face of satisfaction when he's swimming in the arms of his father without laughing ... it´s the best gift ever.

Proud of my baby

This image, a baby who wakes up in bed with their parents, is in our home, each time, less frequent. For the past several days Mr. E is sleeping suspiciously well. So well that even many days I have to wake him in the morning. (Something unthinkable a month ago).

I know that the sleeping subject are just a matter of stages and I don't know how much this will last. Probably until the start of the next teething. But I'm very proud of him and I just wanted to say.

Although sometimes, I have to admit, I miss feeling his soft breath on my chest and his small hand clutching my fingers. I guess it's the “life-law” ...

I feel me over the moon seeing these two smiling together.

First beach day

I still remember going to the beach and just needed to get a swimsuit and a towel, maybe a book... Believe me, this has changedradically with the arrival of a baby. Nowadays a mass high-level full logistics operation is necessary to go to the beach, even just for a little while. Inflatable pool, toys, sun cream, umbrella, portable fridge, water, cookies, hats, diapers ... it's a long list.

Well, these pictures are from a couple of days ago. It was our first day at the beach as a family of three. And it was hard! So hard that when I got in my car to go home, I said I wouldn't go back to the beach this summer. And I still don´t know if I will change my mind.

I´ll probably return again some day, just for a little while. 

I love the beach, but I think it´s so much effort just for a couple of hours. And I really don't think my baby would enjoy the beach more, rather than in his lovely bee-shaped pool at his grandparents garden.

EIGHT MONTHS OLD

Another month with us and it's already eight. Simply amazing. Each day better, happier, more in love ... Lately everything around here has been fun and good times. Our baby is so lovely and spends the day laughing and laughing. He's also very demanding of himself and strives each day to reach his small goals with effort. I hope he keeps this tenacity all his lifetime.

Right now:

-He has begun to take his first steps by holding his hand.

-Since he has discovered how wonderful it's to walk he doesn't want anything else. This is causing predicable back injuries.

-He can stand up leaning on something. It's amazing to see him succeed.

-He's the king of the walker.  He's able to reach every corner of the house and this is starting to be a little dangerous because he's able to open drawers, closets, etc..

-He has discovered how fun it's to play with the water in the pool. I could spend hours watching him how he enjoys it.

-His favorite game is to take out his toys out of a box and then put them back inside. Sounds like fun.

-He loves music. 

-He spends the day clapping with his small hands. It's so nice to see.

-Daddy is talking to him in english, i know it may sound to soon, but i can tell you that he already tríes to copy similar sounds as we speak or encourage him.  

-He sleeps good, most of the  nights. (SMILE) Otherwise at 05:00 he remembers that he has a mom and a dad and he cries because he wants to go with us to our bed (I think). Then daddy takes him and mommy can enjoy of a couple of hours of sleep hugging her baby.

He fills our days of love and fun.
